Dreaming of Knaresborough

A while ago, just before the Tour de France came to Yorkshire, hubby and I went for a day out in Knaresborough.

We were looking for a nice place we've not seen before to have a nice day out as the weather was dreamy and while researching on the internet hubby stumbled upon Knaresborough.

After an hours' drive, we pulled up into the parking space next to the police station and the first thing that took my breath away was the parking charge: just £1.60 for 4 hours!!!!! Absolutely unheard of!:)

After getting over that, we entered the gate to the castle and stopped to look around.

The outfit of the day was loose and casual, with scalloped black shorts and floral, tapestry brogues from Miss Selfridge, my fav floral shirt from New Look (now sold out but similar available if you follow the link), my round sunglasses from Topshop and my quirky little camera bag from Accessorize!

As soon as we actually got around the castle, the most amazingly stunning view opened up and it was love at first sight! :)

Quite upsetting, my camera was having an off day but even that could not take much away from the view!

The dreamy houses, the magic places with utterly captivating stories behind them, the quirky little shops, the boat rides, the walks packed full of sculptures and little caves, and my favorite accessories at the time, the yellow bikes made Knaresborough a must-make-a-habit-out-of-visiting kind of place! :)

If I ever get a bike it shall have to be yellow!!! It just works!! lol

I will end this post with a few more photos of charming Knaresborough and I will save all other details for a second post, after what I hope it to be a charming autumnal walk in Knaresborough soon to be booked in my diary! :)
