La Vie En Rose

This week was a 5 day working week, but I must admit I can keep my eating in check much better when I'm at work! :)

I have started a food journal, which is quite amazing to me as I never in my life could keep up with a journal and I managed to perfect my spaghetti bolognese recipe! Yay!!!

Oh, and I have finally managed to finish a little DIY project, which I'll be sharing with you later in the week! :)

Other random facts, the pink Boden Eliza Coat has gone on sale and I'm fighting with myself on whether to invest in this dream winter coat so close to Spring (aaarrrggghhhh!!!) and Kim Kardashian has gone blonde again!!!!!! :)

I've been struggling of late to find a balance between work and home life! I seem to always be behind on my housework, I mean my crafts room/guest bedroom has been inaccessible for months now, as I always find it easier to just dump things I can't find a place for in there, with the intention of sorting everything out my next weekend off - that never happens!!
And I'm always so tired when I come back from work, that I always just end up checking my social media for a while, then dozing off by 9 - 9:30, to finally be in bed by 10:30. I find this extremely frustrating and I'm hoping a chance in my eating habits as well as finally getting back into exercising will make the difference I have been longing for quite a while now! I will report back on this in a week or so, even though I don't expect miracles in this short amount of time, I would have developed a routine ready to share by then.

Friday Casual Blues

Absolutely shattered at the end of 2 very busy weeks at work, and I couldn't be happier to have 3 days off! :) I should really catch up with housework and all that, but it's a gorgeous day today, the only one this weekend, and I feel I should just take a day off from everything and go out into York and see what's new in my favourite shops, have a hot sandwich and a Caramel Macchiato in Starbucks and generally have no cares in the world for one day only! :)

We all love sales but when The Whitepepper have sales on, I'm the first one there! :)

This amazing white, oversized , embroidered cardigan is one of my favourites for both summer and colder seasons. Don't tell hubby, but I had to get two in both black and white as they are really my go to cardies at all times! And when they are discounted to £32.50 from £65.00, well how can you argue with that? :)

Dreaming of Sunday mornings! :)

Not sure I mentioned it before but I work in Interior Design and I love Sunday mornings! :)

This little post is about these two facts! :) While it is still cold outside, I cannot be separated from my favorite pajamas from Fat Face, which are the best I ever came across! Soft cotton, gorgeous colours, top quality and great attention to details! Cannot wait to get some summer ones as well, they already have some really cute shorts in stock! :)

So, I'm back! :)

December and January have been two really busy months for me! I work full time but now that I have been promoted to the manager position I have been working towards for a while, life seems to have become twice as busy! Not that I'm complaining as such, as I love being busy! Leave me alone with myself for a bit and our budget greatly suffers! lol But obviously my blog had to be put on hold for a while, but I'm happy to say I think I have now managed to establish a bit of routine again, which will definitely allow me to get back to blogging!
