Hello again and Happy New Year! :)

I am now back to blogging and I'm quite excited about it!! :)
There will be a number of changes to my little blog during the next few weeks, but will talk more about that in later posts.
Today's post is about the amazing finds in this year's January Sales (even though most sales started 24th December!! :))

Scampston Vintage Festival 2015

So, what better way to get back into blogging, than the most amazing vintage event of the year, Scampston Vintage Festival Weekend, just a few days away!!!

Lemons from Mod Dolly

Good Friday, day off!! Sounds good doesn't it?! Well, hubby's at work so had to wake up unusually early, at 5:20 am and the weather is awful!
But, in the spirit of this wise old saying 'when life gives you lemons, make lemonade' here I am sharing sunnier days with you, when lemons were on a happy menu! :)

This week was a 5 day working week, but I must admit I can keep my eating in check much better when I'm at work! :)

I have started a food journal, which is quite amazing to me as I never in my life could keep up with a journal and I managed to perfect my spaghetti bolognese recipe! Yay!!!

Oh, and I have finally managed to finish a little DIY project, which I'll be sharing with you later in the week! :)

Other random facts, the pink Boden Eliza Coat has gone on sale and I'm fighting with myself on whether to invest in this dream winter coat so close to Spring (aaarrrggghhhh!!!) and Kim Kardashian has gone blonde again!!!!!! :)

I've been struggling of late to find a balance between work and home life! I seem to always be behind on my housework, I mean my crafts room/guest bedroom has been inaccessible for months now, as I always find it easier to just dump things I can't find a place for in there, with the intention of sorting everything out my next weekend off - that never happens!!
And I'm always so tired when I come back from work, that I always just end up checking my social media for a while, then dozing off by 9 - 9:30, to finally be in bed by 10:30. I find this extremely frustrating and I'm hoping a chance in my eating habits as well as finally getting back into exercising will make the difference I have been longing for quite a while now! I will report back on this in a week or so, even though I don't expect miracles in this short amount of time, I would have developed a routine ready to share by then.
